Steps to Inner Peace public talk,

Steps to Inner Peace public talk,
Tuesday June 17, 7-9pm, Darwin Museum

Discover inner peace through the practice of mindfulness. Learn meditations to reduce anxiety and depression. Overcome selfishness for a happier life.

The teacher of this talk is Libby Evans who is an experienced Buddhist teacher who has studied for many years at Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia in Melbourne. With kindness and warmth, she explains practically how to find happiness by applying Buddha’s teachings in modern daily life.

There is no need to book or bring anything. The session will begin with a simple guided breathing meditation followed by a teaching and a second guided meditation based on the topic. There is also an opportunity for discussion, followed by refreshments.

No meditation experience is necessary, the talk is suitable for beginners and experienced meditators, and everyone is welcome.

Museum & Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, The Theatrette,
19 Conacher St, Fannie Bay,
Tuesday 17 June, 7-9pm,
Class fee $15.
