Tivendale Road Lunacy

Recently, the traffic authorities chopped Tivendale Road in two, installing two sets of traffic lights to slow traffic between the Palmerston and Northern suburbs. Cleverly, these traffic lights have been programmed to always be set to red against you, no matter what the time of day.

The reason for this is that there is a lot of traffic down Tiger Brennan Drive for a couple of hours a day, and the authorities figured that all the roads nearby must also be busy at all other times. Thus, when I reach the Wishard/Tivendale set of traffic lights at three in the morning, and there is not another vehicle in sight, the lights are always red against me!

It makes me see red!
