The Nightcliff Seabreeze Festival 2010 brings together community and culture for a fun filled afternoon of FREE entertainment for the whole family.

Festival Week May 1st - 7th is set to be the biggest yet with a return of everything you've come to expect and the addition of some exciting new events and activities. The parade starts on Saturday 1st May at 3pm and wraps up at 10pm!

The Dance Stage: coordinated by Corrugated Iron Youth Arts and Ausdance NT.
Be entertained and enthralled by their vibrant and lively display of dance.

The Music Stage: be entertained by the talent of our youth with performances by local school choirs and bands before rocking into the night with the hottest talent the NT has to offer.

We have the annual Sand Sculpture Competition with even bigger prize money.
With high tide at 8.10am and low tide at 1.50pm start planning!
Don't forget to slip, slop, slap and bring some water!

The Bicycle Parade - cyclists are invited to bring their decorated bike for a chance to win some great prize money.

Decorate your bike using recycled or already purchased materials, come down to the Jetty ArtSpace at 12.noon on the Big Day and enter your bike for judging.
2 age groups: under 16 and adult.

Bikes will be based on peoples choice oral voting (How loudly the crowd cheers!) so get your supporters worded up!

The Jetty Art Space featuring art works from local artists.
Artists are invited to submit works for the Peoples Choice Awards, volunteer on the day, simply to come down and enjoy a chai and meet other local artists and art lovers.

The SeaBreeze Community Village!

This year a Community Village will include local schools, community groups, charitable organizations and not for profit services along the theme of "Simple Living".

Your community group can have a fundraising stall (Sorry, no large hot food tents or vans - Permit Restrictions) Information booth, fundraising activity or take advantage ot the large green open spaces to take a break halfway along the Festival Path

Alexander Technique Workshops
Amadeus Music School is bringing Robert Schubert to Darwin for an introductory workshop on the Alexander Technique. This technique offers physical benefits to anyone seeking to improve their posture, breathing and health levels and is often used by musicians.

Free Drawing Jams and Mini Bookmaking Classes at the Groove Café

Learn, share and Get creative
These two jams are aimed at connecting local drawing artists together with a view to holding regular jams.

Also a mini bookmaking workshop will help create original and unique ways for artists to showcase their works or create very individual gifts and keepsakes.
