(Malak)

At Darwin Waterfront

Enjoy a walk around Waterfront to explore all the fridge artworks, join our creative workshop and be entertained by live performances from local and international artists.
Program:
Official opening of the festival
‘Off the record’ workshop by an award-winning artist Aly de Groot - design your own vinyl - suitable for all age categories
Live music - local musician Daniel Pattiselanno will play the fridge guitar that he designed and made himself
Demonstration of visual art on a fridge canvas by an acclaimed artist Tony Amaral from Timor-Leste

Darwin Fridge Festival encourages and supports people to make recycled art using old refrigerators and turning them into fine pieces of art.

In 2014, Darwin Fridge Festival celebrates its fifth year of existence and will be held from Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November 2014 at Darwin Waterfront with an additional exhibition at Darwin International Airport and workshops at Malak Shopping Centre.

Make the most of your festival experience and participate in exhibitions, workshops, on-line installations, projections and public forum.
