My story is a humourous one. On Christmas morning I and my boyfriend stood in the ruins of the roofless top floor of the block of flats we were renting in Stuart Park.
There was total silence and we wondered if the rest of the world knew what had happened. I had a transistor radio and I tried desperately to pick up some sort of news station.
I finally found the BBC World Service and they were broadcasting a cricket test from the UK. Just could not believe it.
