International Women’s Day Online Event 2021

Join Australia for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, for our first International Women’s Day online event on Monday 8 March 2021.

The event “Empowering. Inspiring. Uplifting: Together supporting women worldwide” features a line-up of inspirational global speakers including refugee women, members of our Leading Women Fund and UNHCR’s senior women leaders – hosted by Naomi Steer, Australia for UNHCR National Director.

Vogue Australia Editor-in-Chief Edwina McCann will join Naomi Steer in conversation with a very special guest: refugee, supermodel and UNHCR High Profile Supporter, Adut Akech.

We will also hear from successful businesswoman and Leading Women Fund Ambassador Janine Allis and Kelly T. Clements, United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Refugees.

Join us for what promises to be one of our most special events to date.
