Jingili is located between Trower Rd and McMillans Rd along the course of Rapid Creek and Jingili Water Gardens, close to Darwin Airport.

Fountains and ponds provide a scenic background to shaded playgrounds and BBQ areas in the water gardens along Freshwater Rd.

Jingili Primary School and Pre-school occupy much of the central area, next to the shopping centre on Jingili Terrace.

On the corner of McMillans Rd and Rothdale St, right opposite the Airport entrance road, is the Western Airport Gateway Motel, the Airport Hotel, an Ampol Service Station and senator Nigel Scullin's NT office.
