One popular spot is Litchfield Safari Camp which is located on the western edge of the award winning Litchfield National Park just four kilometres from Wangi Falls.
The safari camp offers a range of camping options including powered or non-powered sites for caravans, motor homes or campers and a coach camping area. Safari cabin accommodation for up to four adults is also available.
The spa and barbecue facilities help make this a friendly and relaxing base for a few days exploring Litchfield and sharing your experience with other visitors.

Twin Share room

Latitude 1308 is located next to Litchfield Safari Camp and offers a comfortable range of Permanent Safari Style Tents and Cabins. Twin share or Doubles are available. Safari Tents and Cabins are equipped with fans and lights and all bed linen is supplied.

This is for non-smokers and no cooking facilities are available or cooking allowed, meals are available at the Litchfield Cafe next door which is open 7 days for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner through peak seasons.

Litchfield Tourist and Van Park is also very close to the entrance of Litchfield Park and has 6 cabins, 50 shady powered sites and camp sites on about 35 acres with the Finniss River running through the bottom of the park.
There is plenty to do on the site, with a pool, spa, bbq facilities, bar and licenced restauraunt in a beautiful bush setting.

Butterfly Farm butterfly

The Batchelor Butterfly Farm provides free standing cabins with en suite toilets and showers, air conditioning and complete with bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and television.

The cabins are located beside a tropical rainforest butterfly sanctuary with unique gardens, planted for their ability to attract and feed butterflies. A restaurant and swimming pool in this tropical setting also makes this popular for weddings and other social functions.

Batchelor Resort has both camping sites and motel rooms surrounded by tropical gardens only a few hundred metres from the centre of Batchelor. The resort nestles in 12 hectares of bushland setting, and provides activities such as mini golf, swimming and wild bird feeding, as well as the restaurant, lounge bar and tour desk.

Previously known as The Rum Jungle Motor Inn, this resort has a long connection with the original uranium mining at Rum Jungle. It's worth a visit to see the many photo's of early mining in the area.

Banyan Tree Kiosk

The Banyan Tree Camping Park can be found on the Litchfield Park Road a few k's outside Batchelor. Owned and operated by a local family with an atmosphere of friendly outback living. Enjoy a delicious meal from the licensed and registered eating house under the shade of a 200 year old banyan tree.

Accommodation here varies from business units with TV, air-conditioning and BBQ through to unpowered camp sites.
Plenty of powered sites are also available and a swimming pool and shop help make this a relaxing option for your Litchfield Park accommodation.

Lake Bennett Resort
Located about 80 kilometres from Darwin and about 40 kilometres from Batchelor and Litchfield Park

The resort is built on the banks of a picturesque freshwater lake and provides accommodation styles ranging from two bedroom fully self contained lakeside bungalows to family rooms with bunks and BYO linen.

Accommodation is open from April to September with swimming, fishing, canoeing and bush walks. A quality restaurant and bar caters for guests and visitors.

The Lakes Resort Caravan Park.

Situated In Berry Springs, this caravan park is within walking distance of The Territory Wildlife Park and Berry Springs Nature Park and only a short drive from Litchfield Park. (60kms)

The road into Litchfield is not sealed and can be quite rough, depending on the time of year. You can always drive back to the Stuart Highway, then down to Batchelor and come into Litchfield from the south. Check with locals before you go.

Accommodation ranges from grassed areas for camping through concreted/grassed drive in/drive out sites for caravans and motor homes to air-conditioned cabins sleep 4-6 people. Theses come fully equipped with linen, wall mounted or ceiling fan, television, microwave as well as cooking facilities and utensils. Ensuite shower and toilet are available as well.
